Select newer files

Once your site is published to the server, you can use Dreamweaver to check whether a file is newer on the server (remote) or on your PC/Mac (local). It's a good idea to check if files on the server are newer before you make changes to the file on the local site.

In the site window:

• select Edit --> Select Newer Local
  to identify all the files on the local site that have been modified since they were published on the server (remote site)
• select Edit --> Select Newer Remote
  to identify all the files on the server (remote site) that have been modified since they were published from the local site
