The Joint Program is now celebrating its fortieth year of producing the next generation of ocean scientists. Snelgrove is an associate professor at the University of Newfoundland and president of the MIT/WHOI Alumni Association. Conway is co-founder, president, and CEO of Automatika, Inc., along with her husband and fellow JP grad Hagen Schempf.
