Neil Armstrong in New York

R/V Neil Armstrong made a rare appearance in New York City this spring as part of Fleet Week 2017. The ship paraded up the Hudson River and docked for two days at the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum, giving members of the public a chance to see and tour a working research ship and to meet some of the scientists and engineers who work on it.
