    The next Marine Policy Discussion Group will meet next Tuesday, Nov. 1st, 4:30
pm, Clark 507, featuring Stephen Connors of MIT.

    Connors is the director of the Analysis Group for Regional Electricity Alternatives (AGREA) at MIT's Laboratory for Energy and the Environment (LFEE).  He will be giving us an introduction to alternative energy and tradeoff analysis of using alternative sources of electricity (title TBA).  Connors has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Masters in Technology and Policy from MIT.  For you Peace Corps types, he taught people in Benin to use wood-conserving stoves (aka the "Smokeless Jiko" in Kenya).
