Arctic Changes, Global Warming, Global WarningA public lecture by Jean Claude Gascard.
Jean Claude Gascard is an oceanographer at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, France. He has been conducting Arctic research for more than 25 years and is the project leader for the European DAMOCLES (Developing Arctic Modeling and Observing Capabilities for Long-term Environmental Studies) program. DAMOCLES aims to investigate the extent and causes of extreme climate change, and to examine the disappearance of Arctic sea ice as an example of such change.
