The Paleoceanography and Climate Group is actively engaged in Education through our work with graduate students in the MIT-WHOI Joint Program in Oceanography.
Our graduate students take courses at WHOI and MIT and carry out
independent research projects on a large range of topics.
Students often participate in fieldwork as part of their research or
course curriculum.
We also welcome Summer Student Fellows and Postdoctoral Scholars.
To learn more about these programs, please visit the Education web site.
On
this page, you will also find a link to the titles and abstracts of
recent dissertations carried out by students in the MIT-WHOI Joint
Program in Oceanography. Most Paleoceanography students’ dissertations
will be listed under Geology and Geophysics or under Marine Chemistry
and Geochemistry.
In addition, you may contact any one of us or our students if you are interested in learning more about specific opportunities or about life and education in the Joint Program.
