The Paleoceanography and Climate Group is actively engaged in Education through our work with graduate students in the MIT-WHOI Joint Program in Oceanography.
Our graduate students take courses at WHOI and MIT and carry out
independent research projects on a large range of topics.
Students often participate in fieldwork as part of their research or
course curriculum.
We also welcome Summer Student Fellows and Postdoctoral Scholars.

recent dissertations carried out by students in the MIT-WHOI Joint
Program in Oceanography. Most Paleoceanography students’ dissertations
