Course Structure

Classes will initially be taught in Clark 331 in Woods Hole, and video-linked to MIT 9-151. After some A/V issues are resolved, the Woods Hole room will be changed to Clark 271 but the MIT room will remain the same. We will notify you of this change when we know when it will happen.

The course is divided into four sections, each containing 5 or 6 lectures and a problem solving section. These sections are

1. Nuclear systematics

2. Earth formation and evolution

3. Stable isotopes

4. Applications to the ocean
