Research Interests
Oceanic volcanism and the composition, structure and evolution of the oceanic lithosphere; mantle melting processes, mantle metasomatism and the genesis and evolution of ancient continental lithosphere; layered mafic intrusions and the formation of associated igneous ore deposits: behavior of platinum group elements in the mantle and crust; origin and nature of mantle plumes through geochemical and multi-isotopic studies, continental break-up and formation of flood basalts.
