Columbia University's Teachers College 1993-1996 MA Program in Developmental Psychology. University of Massachusetts at Amherst, MA 1985-1989 Bachelors Degree with Individual Concentration in International Relations.

Administrative Roles

Until September 2011 I was the Center Administrator for:

•CICOR: The NOAA/WHOI Cooperative Institute for Climate and Ocean Research
Director: Robert A. Weller

Since that office closed, I work full time as the Center Administrator for the Center for Library and Informatics at the Marine Biological Laboratory and on a casual basis for WHOI on CICOR-related activities and for Susumu Honjo, WHOI Scientist Emeritus.

Skills

I am interested in data and project management. Over the last 11 years I have administered large NOAA and JAMSTEC projects operated through WHOI including JPAC and CICOR and have been the Center Administrator for the Center for Library and Informatics at the MBL, which includes the MBLWHOI Library, the Encyclopedia of Life and the History and Philosophy of Science Program. Administering multi-departmental, interdisciplinary projects with discretion and attention to detail is my specialty. Formerly I worked as a professional developer for technology and education and my interests in human and technological development, sustainability and education remain strong.

Successfully completed the WHOI Scientific Research SCUBA Diving Program.
