Physiological ecology of marine zooplankton, particularly larval forms; early life history of temperate marine fish, specifically feeding behavior, predator-prey relationships, and developmental physiology; culture requirements of marine and aquatic organisms; life history strategies of bivalve molluscs; symbiosis in the Mollusca; microzooplankton behavior; polar marine biology; video identification and visualization of marine organisms; Cephalopod behaviour.
