Morphology, taxonomy and molecular phylogeny of cyanobacteria and cellulolytic bacteria; characterization and evolution of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) in fish, birds and marine mammals; alteration of gene expression produced by marine pollutants, and use of cell culture systems.
