For security reasons when traveling internationally we suggest calling JP Morgan Chase (Customer Service number on the back of the card) and telling them the itinerary.  When charges appear on the card from a foreign country and the bank is not aware you are traveling, they will put a hold on the credit card until their Fraud Department can validate the charges.
