Handbook of Oceanographic Engineering Materials Only available on loan from the National Sea Grant Library Dexter, S.C. 1979 WHOI-B-79-002 This volume consists of two sections. Part A is a series of tabulations of metallic materials ranked according to selected mechanical and physical properties, corrosion resistance, and cost. Part B consists of one page of more detailed data on each of the materials covered. Composition, mechanical and physical properties, corrosion resistance, forms available, fabricability, typical uses and base cost are treated for each material. Part B also groups the materials are grouped into alloy classes according to the base metal of the alloy.
