Learn more of how, over the past three decades, Woods Hole Sea Grant has invested in research, extension, and outreach in the programmatic theme area Fisheries and Aquaculture. This investment has resulted in the development of better management practices and polices for shellfish harvest and shellfish aquaculture, a better understanding of the life history and environmental requirements of commercially important species offish and shellfish, and quantitative assessments and subsequent improvements of restoration activities.
