While WHOI's educational focus is at the graduate and post-graduate level, the WHOI Academic Programs, Information, and Sea Grant offices, and the joint Marine Biological Laboratory/WHOI Library have contributed resources to assist educators in preparing curricula or teaching units on subjects in oceanography. The teacher packet contains brochures about WHOI, its research projects, and its vessels and vehicles. It also contains information on marine careers, an interactive CD ROM on hydrothermal vents, and a directory of helpful WHOI Web links. Educators will also find information on professional development workshops and class visits to WHOI's Exhibit Center. Single packets are available at no charge.
