While being at the nearby (friendly-rival) institution, I have had many opportunities to sail on the Oceanus.  Two of those were as Chief Scientist during the Georges Bank GLOBEC experiment.  My fondest memory is hearing my technician complain about the food prepared by Torii Corbert - he said it was like eating out at a restaurant every night - something the rest of us thought as a treat.  Several of the crew on the ship, some which I have met in other aspects in other endeavours later on I have been a pleasure to work with.  I have really enjoyed on sailing on this class of vessel, which I have done on all three ships, and will regret its loss to the fleet.  I hope its replacement will be as successful.
