John Trowbridge is a senior scientist in Applied Ocean Physics and Engineering. John specializes in research on the turbulent processes at the ocean's boundaries and on sediment transport. With his fellowship, he worked with Heidi Sosik (below) to understand the physical processes that drive changes in biological activity, as observed from the Martha's Vineyard Coastal Observatory.
The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is dedicated to research and education to advance understanding of the ocean and its interaction with the Earth system, and to communicating this understanding for the benefit of society. Learn more »
