Kathleen Ruttenberg was an associate scientist in Marine Chemistry and Geochemistry. Her research has centered on understanding how nutrients are delivered to the coastal ocean, and how nutrients are cycled in the coastal water column. As a fellow she designed questions and researched plans to tackle the complex questions that remain about nutrient delivery to, and cycling within, coastal systems.
The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is dedicated to research and education to advance understanding of the ocean and its interaction with the Earth system, and to communicating this understanding for the benefit of society. Learn more »
