Carolyn Elefant is the founding attorney in the Law Offices of Carolyn
Elefant in Washington, DC, specializing in renewable energy development
and regulation, FERC practice, and litigation. She has represented and
advised developers and other entities on ocean energy, offshore wind,
and other marine renewables for over a decade. Prior to starting her practice,
Ms. Elefant was employed as an attorney advisor at the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission, where she advised the Commissioners on hydropower
and electricity policy, and subsequently as an associate attorney at two
nationally recognized law firms.
