For symposium registration, please complete BOTH the online registration and the Shilo registration form (PDF).Registration checklist: 1) Complete the online symposium registration and receive a NOAA Registration # and confirmation. (This is necessary so that we can track registrants and prepare the list of participants for the abstract books.) 2) Print out the Shilo registration form (PDF). Fill out the form and be sure to include your NOAA Registration # in the space provided. Credit card payment is required at the time of registration. (This form is necessary because the Shilo will be handling the finances for the symposium.) 3) Fax the Shilo registration form to the Shilo: Attention: Rabekah Judkins at 360-289-0677 4) If you plan to stay at the Shilo conference center, please also complete the Shilo Hotel reservation form (pdf) and fax to Attention: Rabekah Judkins at 360-289-0677. Cancellation policy: In the event of a cancellation, registration fees can be refunded up to 30 days before the meeting with a $25 processing fee. Cancellations within 14 to 30 days of the meeting will be refunded 50% of the registration fee. Refunds are not available within 14 days of the meeting. We encourage payment by credit card. Refunds for fees paid by check or cash require at least 6 weeks for processing from the Shilo corporate office. Symposium FeesRegistrations received on or before July 31, 2009:Regular Fee: $200 Student Fee: $100 Student presenter (or helper): Free Registrations received after July 31, 2009: Regular Fee: $250 Student Fee: $150 Student presenter (or helper): $ 50 The registration fee includes continental breakfasts and coffee breaks for all days of the conference as well as appetizers at an arrival reception and all afternoon poster sessions. The registration packet will include 2 complimentary drink coupons to be used at poster sessions as well as a ticket for an all-inclusive Banquet Party on Wednesday night during the conference. See you at the beach! Optional Special DinnerOn Monday November 16, an optional special dinner has been arranged at the Quinault Beach Resort located 2 miles south of the Shilo Inn in Ocean Shores. The Quinault Indian Nation has long been involved in HAB issues and would take this opportunity to introduce their culture and food to attendees.Busses will pick up and return attendees for the dinner beginning at 5:30pm and returning at 8pm. Quinault Tribal Dancers will do a 30 minute presentation to begin the dinner with interpretive dance and storytelling. The dancers will then join the group for a dinner of wild, fresh-caught, Pacific King Salmon with all the side dishes. This will be fresh-out-of-the-ocean King Salmon. One drink will be provided and a no-host bar will follow. Costs for the transportation, dancers, dinner and one drink will be $30 per person.
