APS
The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) and Applied Physical Sciences (APS) are working together in support of the ONR-funded Buoy-Based Mine Neutralization (BBMN) project. WHOI is currently funded by ONR for the development of a buoy-based delivery system for the Archerfish Mine Neutralizer System (AMNS) vehicle. APS is developing the Archerfish Acoustic Tracking System (AATS) to be used on the BBMN system, necessary for navigating the neutralizer vehicle from the buoy to the target mine.
