Long core

This section describes the various components of the long coring system.  Included are descriptions of the core handling components (A-frame, stern grapple, and starboard davits), the new winch and high performance rope, and the components of the piston core and release system.  A layout of RV Knorr's aft main deck shows the area occupied by the various core components and also the area available for other, non coring operations when the long core is aboard.undefined
