Science and Technology Down on the Farm

At Coonamessett Farm in Hatchville, East Falmouth



Teachers are invited to join us for our fall Science Safari to Coonamessett Farm where we will have a behind the scenes guided tour with a special focus on how science, technology, and math are used in farm and research operations.  Participants will receive a packet of teaching materials and background information, and PDPs are available. WHSTEP Science Safaris are always free of charge!

Coonamessett Farm is a twenty-acre farming and research enterprise dedicated to the responsible stewardship and maintenance of the biodiversity of our planet.  Its purpose is the development and transfer of appropriate technology in support of farming and fishing communities that are environmentally sound and compatible with a sustainable future.
