Images: 'Covering' Alvin's History

To celebrate Alvin's 50th anniversary, local philatelists worked with WHOI to create postal "covers"—empty envelopes decorated with Alvin logos, signed by members of the team that operates Alvin, and canceled and posted on June 5, 2014, the 50th anniversary of Alvin's commissioning.
