Climate [Ex]change invites speakers from outside WHOI to discuss the many, varied, and often surprising ways their professional work overlaps with ocean and climate science. The speakers will typically not be oceanographers or climate scientiststhey will instead be high-level environmental lawyers, or corporate executives, or policy experts who use climate data or knowledge about Earth's changing climate. Each lecture is meant to give scientists a view into how their work affects people outside of science in meaningful ways and how science can better interact with the world at-large.
