A-frame and electric winch
Tioga's A-frame and electric winch are capable of hauling equipment weighing up to 4,600 pounds. When the crew had the node securely fastened to the winch line they lifted it, rotated the A-frame out behind the boat, and lowered the node to the seafloor. (Photo by Jayne Doucette, WHOI)
