The focus of my research to date has been on the circulation in the coastal ocean, specifically in the vicinity of the continental shelfbreak. In my work, I have utilized in situ and satellite observations to investigate the variability, forcing, and dynamics of currents near shelfbreak and over the upper continental slope. My interest has been motivated by the complexity of the current systems here and their potential to influence biological communities near the coast.
