Research Interests & Skills
Paul has been with WHOI since 1985. He has worked with many different groups in, Physical Oceanography, Chemistry, and Applied Ocean Physics & Engineering. Paul?s background is in electrical and computer electronics. Since arriving at WHOI he has become one of the leaders in at-sea operations for project performance. He has worked with many different oceanographic instruments and vehicles, such as, Buoy systems, moorings, ROV?s, AUV?s, Acoustic transmitters and receivers, CTD?s, Current meters, and other underwater instrumentation.
Hobbies
Paul enjoys numerous outside interests. Being raised on Cape Cod he is an avid fisherman and boater. He also enjoys skiing and is also on a local dart team.
