Research Interests
My interests are in studying physical processes through observational fluid mechanics, acoustics while using engineering to improve field measurements and lab experiments. I like to apply these interests to oceanographic research as much as possible. My recent work is focused on deploying broadband acoustic systems on autonomous platforms to measure zooplankton, fish and microstructure in the ocean. I have previously worked on a 2-D two-phase flow model for Langmuir Circulation to gain understanding of how these currents interact with oil.
