What I Do
As a key technical staff member of the Informatics Bridging Team, my role is to work closely with science teams to improve information management and increase the quality and accessibility of WHOI science data to researchers, government agencies, and the general public. Engaging productively and efficiently in partnership with oceanographic researchers and disseminating technical strategies that positively impact their work is of critical importance, in addition to the technical work that I do on their behalf (e.g., software development, information architecture, software engineering). My role also includes documenting and disseminating successful techniques and approaches developed in partnership with science teams, so that other researchers at WHOI and the broader community can benefit as much as possible.
