Research Interests
I study bio-physical interactions in the ocean at small scales.  Specifically, my PhD work considers the effects of small-scale turbulent processes and conspecific chemical cues on the settlement behaviour of larval oysters (Crassostrea virginica) through a combination of experimental and modelling approaches.

2010 - present   PhD in Biological Oceanography, MIT-WHOI Joint Program

2003 - 2008       BSc (hon) in Applied Math, BA in German, Memorial University of Newfoundland
