Field trips for student cadets, engineers, and technicians

The Massachusetts Maritime Academy and Bristol Community College have laboratory courses in the strength of engineering materials. Both campuses are equipped with testing machines. The high school students and the cadets toured the testing laboratory at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Professor Bob Robideau, a mechanical engineer, led the tour. He demonstrated a testing machine by measuring the breaking strength of one of the adhesive samples. A cadet and a high school technician assisted with the demonstration.
