	the spectrum from desktop applications to technical certification

In an attempt to reach WHOI employees for whom instructor-led classes aren't a good fit, the training-CT function has contracted with a leading e-Learning company to provide WHOI a wide selection of courses (pdf). Real-time access to subject-matter mentors at all times is a particularly appealing aspect of this e-Learning site. In other words, while taking a course from MindLeaders, a student can contact an expert in that course material to answer any questions that may be unanswered in the courseware, and get a response immediately.

Brief FAQ:

• Offered at no cost to individual projects.
• After you are authorized with a username and password, you may take as many courses as you think you can complete.
• The very first course taken should be 'Getting Started: How to Take a Course'
• Each course description indicates the level of expertise in the subject that the training presumes (ex: Introduction, series #4, etc.)
• During and after using this site, we'll appreciate your feedback in the form of comments to training-CT, on:
  • the MindLeaders site
  • course quality and content
  • additional courses you'd appreciate having added to our list
