Ultramoor

A joint WHOI / MIT venture funded by NSF

Purpose: To develop a replacement for the subsurface mooring
  • That will last 5 or more years
  • That telemeters collected data back to the scientist
  • That is less expensive to prepare and deploy
  • That can be deployed from vessels of opportunity
  • That requires fewer and less experienced people to deploy

Plots and data from 1st Ultramoor test mooring now available.
