WHOI Arctic Group International Polar Year information

Overview
International Polar Year is a major international interdisciplinary effort to study the cold regions at the ends of the Earth. Polar Year will run from March 2007-March 2009 so that researchers can take advantage of summer conditions at each pole twice.
