- Pacific Walruses Swimming
With a chorus of angry grunts, pacific walruses swim away from the
Polar Star. We could clearly see their beady red-rimmed eyes
as they strained to check out the ship, even while swimming away.
It was amazing to me how tightly the groups would swim together -
males, females, and young are almost constantly touching as they swim.
