The average bay-wide health index developed by the Buzzards Bay Coalition highlights the declining water quality of Buzzards Bay. Scores from 65-100 (shown in blue) are considered “good”, scores from 35-65 (shown in yellow), are considered “fair”, and scores from 0-35 (none shown), are considered “poor”. Note individual embayments may be in poor condition although the overall average is currently fair.
