Ruth Turner

The Institution has received word of the death of Ruth Dixon Turner of Cambridge on Sunday, April 30, after a long illness. Ruth was a longtime adjunct scientist in the Biology Department. Visiting hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, at the Long Funeral Home, 1979 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, May 5, at the Long Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. A copy of the complete obituary will be posted when available.
