Summer Student Fellowship Program
In 2003, 30 undergraduates
from 29 institutions participated in the summer student
fellowship program, in which college juniors or seniors
studying math, science, or engineering spend 10 to 12
weeks in Woods Hole, working on a project of their choosing
with a WHOI advisor. The program is supported by friends
of WHOI and by the National Science Foundation Research
Experience for Undergraduates program. Photos by Tom Kleindinst.
