DESCRIPTION:The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution’s Ladd Thorne Indigenous Knowledge Program (LT-IKP) is pleased to invite you to our inaugural LT-IKP Seminar\, featuring Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer\, acclaimed author\, scientist\, and educator. \nFriday\, May 15\, 2026\n9:30–10:30 AM\nClapp Auditorium\, Lillie Building\nMarine Biological Laboratory\, Woods Hole \nThe Fortress\, The River\, and The Garden: A New Metaphor for Knowledge Symbiosis \nDr. Kimmerer will explore new paradigms for knowledge exchange and ecological understanding\, offering a thoughtful perspective on how different ways of knowing can exist in relationship with one another. \nThis session is intended for the WHOI community and Corporation Members as part of the May Joint Meeting of the Board and Corporation. \nRSVP Here \nDr. Kimmerer will also offer an evening presentation open to the public at 6:00 PM.
