WOODS HOLE PUBLIC LIBRARY: Introduction to speaking Spanish

February 4, 2020 @ 4:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, repeating until March 17, 2020

Thanks to a grant from the Falmouth Cultural Council, the library is able to offer young children an introduction to speaking Spanish. The six-session program will be taught by María Pechuk who has been teaching Spanish to children since 2008. Her program, called “Hola Spanish for Kids,” is designed for children from kindergarten through 4th grade. The classes will be held on Tuesdays, February 4, 11, 25 and March 3, 10, 17 at 4:30 p.m. Classes are one hour long and the class size will be very limited so that the kids will get some individual attention. There is no charge for participants thanks to the grant from the Cultural Council, but people must sign up ahead of time. For more information and to register, call the library at (508) 548-8961.
