WOODS HOLE FILM FESTIVAL (WHFF): The 2020 WHFF Dinner & A Movie series continues on Saturday, January 11 at 7 p.m., with the heralded feature documentary HONEYLAND. The film was shortlisted as a possible nominee in the category of “Best International Feature Film at the 92 Academy Awards.” Dinner & A Movie is a monthly series of independent film presented by the WHFF at WHOI’s Redfield Auditorium located at 45 Water Street Woods Hole. The selections include films from the prior Woods Hole Film Festival, as well as films curated specifically for the series. Tickets are $14 per person, $12, for WHFF members, $10 for students and veterans and are on sale in advance at www.woodsholefilmfestival.org or at the door at Redfield Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the screening starts at 7:00 p.m. On the night of each screening, participating restaurants, including the Captain Kidd, 77 Water Street Woods Hole, Quick’s Hole Tavern, 29 Railroad Ave. Woods Hole and Water Street Kitchen, 56 Water Street, Woods Hole will offer a special for ticket holders. The restaurant purchase is separate from the film ticket. Contact each restaurant directly for reservations and for further information.
