Woods Hole Black History Month: Tales of Transatlantic Freedom

Experience a powerful performance by Mezzo-soprano, Andrea Baker; Composer, Howard Moody; and Director, John Paul McGroarty. Through song, poetry, and movement, they explore African diasporic narratives and celebrate shared musical heritage. This event will be held in  Falmouth Academy’s Simon Center for the Arts, 7 Highfield Drive, Falmouth, MA 02540
Woods Hole Black History Month events are sponsored by the Marine Biological Laboratory; the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, the National Marine Fisheries Service, the U.S. Geological Survey, Woods Hole Science Center, the Woodwell Climate Research Center, Sea Education Association and Falmouth Academy. All events are free and open to the public
