On Wednesday April 24 at 3 p.m., the library will welcome poet Milly White to read from her recent book ”Spirit’s Spark, Stories and Musings in Poems.” Ms. White has retired to Davisville after a career in nursing in New Jersey. Only recently has she become used to being a poet. Since 2017, she has found poems suddenly appearing in her mind, then tumbling onto her pages. With strong support from her family, a dedicated group of friends, and closely bonded writing group, she has taken the plunge into printing and publishing this volume; she will humbly and bravely present it to us, the public, at the library event.
