Continuing to complete PHASE I for the newly rebuilt HOV ALVIN. This cruise will take NAVSEA and ALVIN personnel to sea to certify Alvin at 4,500 meters.Science Activities
Alvin may dive 2 days to complete this certification. Depending on weather, location and engineering dive day ahead of the actual 4500m dive.Pre-cruise planning meeting: Visit WHOI
