Science objectives
Cruises will take place in autumn of 2011, 2013 and 1015, timed to minimize the probability of encountering ice while remaining in the early autumn window for good weather.Operations will include servicing an array of 9 subsurface moorings and 6 shelf sites across the Davis Strait, deployment and recovery of autonomous gliders and a hydrographic survey that spans the from the Northern Labrador Sea to Southern Baffin Bay.
