Volunteer Opportunities
The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution offers both year-round and seasonal volunteer opportunities on an as-needed basis. Volunteers learn about the Institution, have access to programs and special events, and enjoy discounts on items purchased in our Ocean Science Exhibit Center and online gift shop.
Volunteer opportunities include assisting in the activities of the Information Office, the Media Relations Office, the WHOI Archives and the Exhibit Center. On occasion, volunteers are also needed in certain scientific labs or other areas of the Institution. Learning about ocean sciences and meeting interesting people from all over the world make volunteering at WHOI rewarding and fun.
For more information about volunteer opportunities at WHOI, please contact Joanne Trump in the Information Office at (508) 289-2252 or information@whoi.edu.
