Introduction to Oceanography

Instructor: David Ross

The main objective for the course is to give an appreciation of the ocean and how it works.  Participants will learn how marine scientists operate and how the ocean may be an opportunity for solving or helping to solve some of the problems facing the world.  Dr. Ross will draw on personal experiences and various things that happen at WHOI.  The course is for non-scientists who wish to learn about the ocean.

WHOI employees will be given preference for registration. If room is available, non WHOI affiliated individuals will be allowed to register for a fee of $75.
