This seminar is designed to be a painless review of how good sentences are constructed and punctuated, so that the writer’s message is clear and concise.
Objectives:
This will be a highly interactive seminar with many exercises.
Participants are encouraged to ask questions about any special problems
they may have with grammar and/or punctuation - let’s face it, it has been
a long time (if ever) since most of us took English writing in school.
This seminar is specifically targeted to those of us who create documents as well as those of us who edit and finalize them.
These classes are offered at no charge to WHOI employees, postdocs and students and are open initially only to WHOI personnel. Non-WHOI affiliated individuals will be accommodated as space allows and will be charged a fee of $165 for this session.
