Overview:
The Illustrator 10: Level 1 course introduces students to the fundamental
concepts and skills of Adobe Illustrator 10. Students learn how to create
and edit paths and objects, and to apply and edit an object's stroke and
fill attributes. Students will then print their graphics, as well as export
them for Web use.
Audience: This course is intended for graphic artists, Web designers, or
others who wish to use Adobe Illustrator to create logos and other original
graphics for Web or print use. Students can have any level of experience
in their field, but will probably have little or no experience using Illustrator
10.
Objectives:
* Apply paint attributes to the stroke and fill of objects
* Change the levels of opacity of paths and objects
* Create an advertisement design for the web
* Create and edit geometric objects
* Create dynamic type effects
* Define process colors and gradients, and work with spot
colors
* Manipulate and modify paths using several tools
* Use layers to manage complex illustrations
General Prerequisites:
* Basic knowledge of your computer's operating system
